Celebrity Skin Care Techniques Revealed!

Many celebrities get paid for looking good through endorsements from companies that want them as their spokespersons. Of course, they do receive tons of help in achieving those perfect looks. No matter how bad their day is or how terrible their moods may be, celebrities are still able to maintain fresh faces with perfect skin texture almost everyday. Nonetheless, fret not as the rest of us can still achieve looks similar to that of our favorite celebrities. It is a matter of learning their skin care techniques and putting them into practice. So, here are some celebrity skin care techniques revealed!

You need to appreciate that beauty comes from within you. This means that you should always try to rely on your natural appearance to feel and look good. Thus, it is essential that you use only natural skin care techniques to get your desired skin. Avoid drastic procedures like face lifts or surgery, although many celebrities do so. As such, you need to know what is best for you and what is not. Furthermore, you can always consider other products or methods that some use to get flawless skin.

1. Protect your skin well to keep that youthful look.

Your skin should always be protected from the harmful effects of the environment. If you wish to prevent wrinkles and the likes, keep away from the sun’s harmful rays and other irritants. This is because Collagen present in your skin will be destroyed when exposed to excessive amounts of the sun’s rays. You should always use sunscreen when outdoors and anti wrinkle creams to remove those lines on the face.

2. It is important to stay hydrated everyday.

An effective way to avoid wrinkles or fine lines from forming on the face is to remain sufficiently hydrated everyday. The smooth and flawless complexion seen on Hollywood stars is achieved by being properly hydrated. You might also want to consider using products such as moisturizers to help keep moisture locked in your skin.

Other than the usual liquid intakes, celebrities also use facial masks with vitamins in them to remain hydrated on the outside. So, it is evident that without the much needed moisture in our bodies, the skin will become flat and lose its elasticity, resulting in it becoming dry and wrinkled.

3. Use the correct product for your skin type

Often, you may look into a mirror and wonder why celebrities never seem to get dark rings around their eyes or pimple outbreaks that you do. Well, it is simply because they have learnt the proper skin care techniques and are practicing them everyday. So, check if you are taking the right steps to make that flawless look possible as well.

Many celebrities use Hylexin to keep themselves from getting dark circles around their eyes and puffiness under them. You should consider applying gels and creams around the eyes to control puffiness and reduce the heat accumulated around the eyes. Caffeine and cucumbers are ingredients in those gels that help keep the dark circles away.

Do not be surprised, but even celebrities do get breakouts on their skin. However, they use products like Acne Gel to control and get rid of them. As such, you need to find the right type of product that works for you and does not burn your skin.

Rounding things off, these are just a few of the celebrity skin care techniques that Hollywood stars use today. If you are willing to invest good time and money to get the products and protection that your skin needs, you will be able to get your desired skin in no time.

I’m wondering, do famous people have privacy when it comes to shopping online?
Actors, singers, movie producers, animators… Just famous people in general, do they have privacy when it comes to shopping online? LOL like for example, a celebrity decides to buy himself a wrinkle cream and then like… what if the world finds out since he’ll use his credit card and maybe the card will show his name and the people are like “OMG IS HE SERIOUS? LOOK EVERYONE!”?

    • Anne says:

Yes they do. It’s called client confidentiality. If any corporation/website breaks this rule, the customer aka celebrity are able to sue.

Why are men and woman are so obsessed with Angelina Jolie? Do you think she’s that hot?
I just get so ticked off at people who are all in love with the same celebrity, like Angelina Jolie and Ladies I know when your guy see’s a celeb he wished to be with you get a little jealous or self-conscious with me is Angelina Jolie I think shes pretty but not the best looking person in the world and she’s freakin old now we can see she needs some wrinkle cream…

    • Kiely M says:

You are just jealous. She does not need wrinkle cream she is beautiful and she is aging beautifully and gracefully. She is elegant, sexy and classy. Blah blah blah she “stole” Jennifer Anistons man, it was his choice to leave and frankly I would leave that boring waste of space too.

Identifying Propaganda Devices in an Ad?
    http://s360.photobucket.com/albums/oo45/rraacchh2/?action=view&current=001.jpg

The think above shows an ad for colgate sensitive pro-relief toothpaste that I am suppossed to analyze and identify propaganda devices. Then I’m supossed to write a 500 word essay on it. I just want to make sure that there isn’t anything I’ve missed before I start working on the essay.

PROPAGANDA DEVICES (These are the ones my teacher told us to focus on. A lot of them aren’t present in the ad so don’t feel like you have to identify all of them):

    Fallacy/Faulty Logic

Security (propagandistss play on your fears as a method of persuading you to do something, i.e. playing on your fear of wrinkles to persuade you to buy skin cream)

    Testimonial (celebrity endorsement)

Bandwagon appeal (propagandist attempts to convince you that “everyone” is doing/buying something)

Plain folks (propagandist wins people’s approval by claiming to be “one of the people”)

Snob appeal (Reverse of plain folks device, uses words like “limited edition”, “discriminating buyer” to appeal to those who view themselves as superior)

A person of distinction (appeals to someone who prides himself on being distinct, i.e. environmentally/sociall conscious)

    “You Deserve it”

Glittering Generalities (associating a person or idea with an abstract word like “freedom”, “love”, or “social justice”)

    Name calling (good or bad)

Transfer (making something or someon acceptable by associating it with something that is respected or approved of. i.e. speaker places a flag on a platform to transfer the audience’s patriotic feelings to the programs and principals he advocates)

Scientific slant: (impressive terms, testimonials from doctors etc, images or doctors etc.)

Weasel Words: (words like “helps”, “virtually”, “acts”, “tastes”, “can be”; words that sound convincing but mean little, i.e. “fights tooth decay” (but does it prevent tooth decay))

Here are some that I’ve identified in the ad. Please let me know if you find any more or if you think I’m mistaken on one of these:

Scientific Slant: “Pro-Argin Technology” (partially cut off, sorry), “recommended by dental professionals”

Bandwagon appeal: “People all around the world are getting instand relief with new colgate sensitive pro-relief.”, quotes from people who have used the toothpaste

Plain Folks: Picture of average person.

    Weasel Words: “Fights Cavities”

Thanks so much for the help. I don’t think I really have enough to write 500 words so this helps me alot. Also, remember you can look for these devices in the words, the picture, anything. Thanks again for your time! :)

    MAKE-UP help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I was watching “Veronica mars’ the other day and I just couldn’t help but notice how flawless Kristen Bell’s face looks like. Absolutely beautiful skin, no wrinkles or anything.
I just want to know if it’s just like foundation that celebrities apply, or if it’s a whole series of exfoliation and whitening cream, and etc???

Please suggest me some tips for having good skin (I have like this allergy, and whenever it’s too hot, these rash forms on my arms. just the part where you can bend your arms. same with legs. i think they call it heat rash).

    ALSO!!!

I have like a round/oval (not so sure) face… I’m thinking of cutting it short, but I heard short hair isn’t for everyone?

    AND!!! (lol sorry)

Could you list me some must-have make-up? Like mascara, etc? And are you supposed to apply the foundation BEFORE the concealer or after or are they the same thing? I’m so make-up clueless!!! Please help!

Why does my wife obsess over age?
We got married a year and a half ago and she is 22 and Im 31. She literally obsesses over age. She spends alot of her money on anti aging creams and was depressed for her 22nd birthday because she doesnt want to get older. She wont even dry her face when she gets out of the shower or wipe her eyes even if she has soap in them because she doesnt want to cause skin stretching or wrinkles. Ive talked to her about it and she said she knows 22 is young but it came so quick and the next time she blinks she will be 30 and get wrinkles and she doesnt even want to talk about when she turns 40. She is obsessed with it. She always adds up random celebrities birth year to see how old they are and weird stuff like that. Why??

    • Natalie says:

Then don’t let her read the More magazine for mature women. I read it, I’m a mature woman, and it made me depressed reading about widows and widowers and losing their spouses and what they went through and all about their ailments and sicknesses. I wanted it to be more of an uplifting magazine with a positive spin. Maybe it’s changed since I last read it, but I haven’t picked it up since.

I don’t like growing old and I obsess about it. I don’t like what is happening to my body either and would love to turn back the clock. I’m not aging gracefully and I always thought I would be the one that would. I’m fighting it all the way and I surprised myself by my reaction.

      That’s just what women do.

Have her look at this video of a 74 year old female body builder. She is an inspiration to say the least. When I see what she has accomplished I quit complaining.

how do celebrities in their 20s have such great skin? what’s their secret?
I’m a 25 year-old male, but I feel like my worn face makes me look much older (people always misjudge my age). I shave with an electric razor to avoid cuts, but I still feel that my face is wrinkled and I always have bags under my eyes. How do today’s young male celebrities look so amazing? Are they getting more sleep? Is it a skin cream? Is it botox? Please help me look young again. I’ll try anything

    • PC says:

Make-Up’s their secret… a lot of celebrities look beautiful but normal without make-up!

enough sleep, lots of water, cutting down on alcohol and healthy eating make skin a lot better … in case you’re really into looking better, you could try a sun screen in the day and a moisturizer before sleeping…

  9. ariana the original says:

    Do celebrities really think?
that we mere mortal women are that stupid . Kylie has declared that she has never used Botox or fillers for the last nine months and her wrinkle free skin is due to a jar of £3-99 Ponds cold cream recommended by her mother . Needless to say the Ponds range of creams is now flying off the shelves . Ridiculous or what ?

    • stuart says:

kylie has had chemical peels and botox for years no doubt she has also used expensive creams too , she had moles when she was in neighbours
does ponds cream get rid of moles now then ,do advertisers think we are really that stupid
yes ridiculous , the new wonder cream has varied from boots to avon , each is apparently amazing and fabulous blah blah blah

Can i have some opinions on my short story? (FIRST PARAGRAPH)?
I’m putting together a collection of short stories for publication. Can i get some honest opinions on this. Please, all constructive criticism welcome.

The epitome of depression is being too afraid to look in the mirror. Too scared to see the increasingly decrepit face that stares back at you with that look of despair. Depression comes in many shapes and forms. In extreme cases it can lead to self harm and even suicide. But the one thing people have to understand is that it can’t be understated. If a celebrity suffers from depression and goes public about it, they get laughed at and told to grow up. Just because someone earns a substantial amount of money, doesn’t mean they are any less a human being. It can strike anyone down for any number of reasons. That’s why it’s important to understand that all forms should be treated the same, whether it seems irrational or not.
As Lily rubbed anti-wrinkle cream into her face, staring into the mirror with that familiar look of despair, she knew that time was unforgiving. Being a single woman renting a show flat in Harrow, there was a lot of spare cash to spend as she pleased. Most of it was spent on anti-ageing creams and other expensive products that didn’t even work. Her obsession with staying young was ruining her life. But at the age of thirty, she felt like her life was already finished.
    – See! Look at that, you still got it. You still got those killer looks, she said to herself, as she stared at her own reflection in the mirror.
Lily may have been kidding herself, but that self delusion was the only think that kept her sane.

    Is it a decent start?

    • Miss Rose says:

I agree that you should use the bit about Lily first as it will hook people in first. I like the first section, but it reads more like a factual article.

Try using some shorter sentences to create an eloquent flow and relationship between your sentences. Use short punchy sentences to create tension and long flowing sentences to create clear images and ideas. You need to use both, the balance will come naturally.

Keep at this piece as it is good and very promising – also the topic is quite original. Good luck!

Would you pay five bucks to be HOT?
I heard that there is a woman who is very coveted over by celebrities – like they hire her to help them. It said in Elle magazine that she has been hired by Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, and Meryl Streep.

Her name is Melissa, and apparently she has lots of secret recipes that are used for beauty. Like for REALLY fast growing hair, or perfect skin, or white teeth or hairless legs. The other ones that were listed were like, nice nails, shiny hair, thick hair, straight hair, curly hair, moisturized skin, wrinkle creams… that stuff.

Anyway – it was saying that she has opened an advice collum at an email address – and its melissarosexoxo@rocketmail.com

apparently there are two ways of getting the recipes. You can either email her – because she responds to every 100th email (i hear she gets a lot) or you can send 5 dollars to her work address for one recipe.

I emailed her, but mine wasn’t the 100th. Since it said it in Elle magazine, i know it isn’t a fake, but im kind of unsure about sending 5 bucks.

Should i do it? i don’t make that much money. Also, will some of you please email her and see if you are the one hundredth? If you are, email me the recipe you get!

    Thanks!
If you are lazy and dont want to read all of that – here is the main point.

There is a woman who has been hired by celebrities because she has amazing beauty ingredients for anything. (Shiny hair, clear skin, ect.)

Should i pay 5 dollars to get the recipe?
    Melissarosexoxo@rocketmail.com is the email

After she’d finished rubbing cream into her facial deficiencies, she picked up the phone and called Katy to confirm the night’s plans. Going out with her younger work mates was also another way to make her feel like she was eighteen again.

not bad.. i’m intrigued to see where the story goes Just from this short extract.. i like the sound of the main character and her real life hang-ups.

i’m not overly sure you need the depression paragraph, it felt more magazine article than story but i’m sure it leads somewhere further on.

good luck, its a great start.
